Branch Administrator (Part-Time)

We are looking for a skilled, dedicated person to fill the position of Part-Time Branch Administrator at our Kentville, NS location.

Schedule: 8:00am - 12:00pm, Monday-Friday (20 hours per week)

Purpose:

Performs a full range of administrative support duties for dealership location.

Responsibilities:

• Receives telephone calls , ensures they are directed to proper parties within the dealership
• Prepares bank deposits and balances cash receipts
• Travelling to bank to drop off deposit, get change as needed for parts dept
• Pick up mail and take care of other errands as needed by location.
• Post payments to AR accounts as received.
• Set up serialized parts on customer’s account as invoices are received from parts dept.
• Distribute mail to proper individuals.
• Order office supplies as needed.
• Balance and replenish Petty Cash.
• Vendor machine deposits
• Complete all new hire clothing forms and order staff clothing as needed.
• Keep office and showroom area clean and organized as needed.
• Other admin tasks as required
• Provide administrative support to the sales, parts, and service departments.
• Assist other administrative staff as needed and other tasks as required by Management

Requirements and Skills:

• Solid clerical expertise
• General accounting knowledge
• Strong people and communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office
• High School Diploma or equivalent experience required
• Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
